The Graham Holland trained, Kevin O’Brien owned Clona Duke was the fastest of the 12 heat winners of the Kirby Memorial at Limerick. The Juvenile Derby winner clocked a fabulous 28.04.

While at Shelbourne Park, kennelmate Romeo Magico went quickest in the second round of the Bresbet Easter Cup with a 29.52 run, just nine spots off his PB.

At Enniscorthy there was another exceptional run from the Pat Buckley trained October pup Glengar Martha in the Champion Unraced/Michael Fortune Memorial second round. Shane Divilly’s Crafty Orlando landed a €4,000 stake when clocking the fastest 525 of the week at Galway.

Super sprinter Gizmo Cash clocked the quickest run over Cork’s 350 yards this year though it was some 25 spots off his best. Puppy Pavilion Fire produced a flying time for the Dundalk sprint. Look out too for a sensational 29.02 run at Mullingar from Horseleap Nelly.
