The brilliant Serene Ace put up another fabulous performance in the semi of the Irish Sprint Cup. His 20.78 win was no.17, runners-up 11, from 32 races.
Towcester sprint track record holder Flashing Willow was three spots slower in the other semi.
At Cork, puppy Droopys Dancer was only four spots off the fastest 575 of the year, on the same night that brother Broadstrand Ray clocked the fastest 525 yard run of the week, 28.44.
There were joint fastest times of the year recorded for the Newbridge sprint (Count Aurelius) and the Waterford 730 (Ballybreen Storm).
