Arguably the most interesting racing of the week was at Tralee with the opening round of the Lee Strand 550 where Pat Buckley’s puppy Tullig Cyrname produced a fabulous 29.59 to extend his racing record to 3:3.
At Mullingar last Sunday, Magical Mary clocked the fastest time in the opening round of the Irish Cesarewitch.
At Clonmel, Graham Holland’s exciting puppy Newinn Homer recorded the third fastest sprint of the last seven years. While at Galway, Own Spice equaled the fastest time recorded in 2021 for the 550 course. Look out too for October pup Daring Bowie whose 17.65 is the fastest over the Waterford sprint course this year.
