Bad weather saw the cancellation of the Shelbourne, Thurles and Waterford Saturday night cards with various other tracks running on very slow going.
A fine win for Pat Guilfoyle’s Wi Can Dream at Tralee in the Juvenile Classic on Friday. Two more performances of note at the same meeting though. A track record for the 525 yards for Ballinabola Ed, and the fastest sprint in seven years for Flashing Willow.
There were another couple of good performances in the unraced bitches stake at Newbridge with Tullymurry Faith marginally the quickest. Look out too for a fastest 525 of 2022 at Limerick for Magical Mary.
Finally, a quick mention for Kilbannon Psycho. Not only did she clock the fastest 525 of the year at Galway, but her litter sister will make the UK charts this week – namely one Jaguar Macie.
