Another fabulous performance from Susie Sapphire was the highlight of the racing week in Ireland. The Owen McKenna trained black won for the 14th time in 23 races in the fastest semi final of the Bresbet Easter Cup. Knight Tornado landed the other qualifier while Ela Supremo picked up the fastest sprint run so far this year.
Droopys Edison landed the fastest semi final of the Juvenile Classic at Tralee with a 28.18 run. On the same night Newbridge staged the heats of an unraced bitch stake where another Burgess Bucks offspring, Burgess Rapid, was narrowly the quickest first round winner. Look out too for a new FOY for the Waterford standard from puppy Halo.
