ODDS 27 PAC

While there was plenty of Irish attention on Towcester on Saturday, Liam Dowling and Graham Holland would have been closely monitoring Shelbourne too where the results went more in their favour.

Ballymac Ariel continued her dominance in the Shelbourne Champion 550 when clocking the joint second fastest time ever, 29.07, equal with Ballymac Wild and just eight spots outside Pestana’s track record. While Bockos Brandy was just one spot slower than her previous outing when landing the fastest Corn Cuchulainn semi in 41.28.

Look out too for Millrose Brandy with the fastest 550 seen at Galway in the last five years. Jacobs Tashadelek’s 28.70 run was only bettered by Bull Run Norris in all of 2020, and nothing since .

There were a couple of interesting runs at Newbridge. Supporting Emery clocked the fastest 550 of the year, but we’ve given the nod to the year’s fastest sprinter, Another Sky who is four months short of his fifth birthday.
