At Shelbourne Park all eyes were on the Oaks semis where Front Amani completed a four timer in the quickest time of the year to date. The other qualifier went to Billys Diva who is also unbeaten.
While Bev Lochead’s Bockos Belly was breaking the Towcester track record, her Silverhill Helen was completing an unbeaten run in the final of a 750 stake at Cork. Her winning time was identical to the semis and the aggregate winning distance for the three races was 37 lengths.
Produce Stakes winner Explosive Boy franked the Clonmel form by setting a new track record of 29.22 for the 550 yards at Tralee when taking 12 spots off the clock which was held by his sire Good News.
Among the best of the rest, check out Rockys Guy, the November pup who was at least 25 spots quicker than anything else at Youghal last week.
