A brilliant weekend for Pat Buckley and team with the highlight being the Easter Cup win for Knocknaboul Syd. Kennelmate Deerjet Sydney franked the form on a slow track at Shelbourne Park.
A special mention then for Deadly Destroyer whose 28.32 for the 525 yards looks particularly quick.
The previous evening, the weekend’s other big final was the Juvenile Classic at Tralee which went in hugely impressive fashion to the Buckley’s Singalong Sally with a 28.58 (-30). It was a third win in four races for the half sister of Glengar Bale and Doolin Princess.
