The Oaks and Leger dominate the Irish racing scene at present with the Kerry kennels of Liam Dowling, in turn, completely dominating the bitch’s classic.
Ballymacs won three of the four quarter finals with the nominations going to the youngest and fastest pair, Ballymac Art and Ballymac Beanie.
Dowling runners were also busy at Limerick, though it was the Graham Holland trained Newinn Session who was quickest in the eight second round heats.
At Clonmel, the Munster Juvenile semi finals were overshadowed by yet another hugely impressive Dowling bred hound, Ballymac Notoyou in an unraced bitch stake.
