Henlow Open Race Competitions
The Category Two Henlow Maiden Gold Cup dates have been confirmed as Heats Sunday 3rd March, Semi-Finals 10th March and Final 17th March, closing at 1pm on Thursday 28th February. The original dates proposed for this competition and published on the Greyhound Star website last week were not submitted in time for the race to be advertised in any editions of the GBGB Calendar. Dispensation has been granted by the GBGB Open Race Planning Committee for this competition, and the Category Two Greyhound Star Marathon (Heats 3rd March, Final 10th March), to close on Thursday 28th February and be included in the next Calendar (22nd February edition).
A number of other competitions proposed by Henlow are now being reviewed by the Open Race Planning Committee. Proposed dates for some of these competitions (as published on the Greyhound Star website) will be required to change as they create clashes with already approved events which are scheduled to be published in the next GBGB Calendar. Owners and trainers are advised to refer to future GBGB Calendar editions for confirmed dates for these competitions.
