The working party tasked by the Greyhound Board of Great Britain to produce a plan for the future of the Greyhound Derby met for the first time today.  Following a productive exchange of ideas, the group decided to place an advertisement in the Racing Post next Thursday inviting interested GBGB licensed tracks to contact the GBGB.

The working party is also seeking declarations of interest from potential sponsors. The intention is to maintain the value and prestige of the Derby, either through a single sponsor or by way of partnership sponsorship. The working party will be also be pleased to consider any other innovative forms of sponsorship that do not detract from the standing of the Derby.

Interested tracks and sponsors will be asked to submit their applications in writing to Tom Kelly, Greyhound Board of Great Britain, 6 New Bridge Street, London EC4V 6AB ([email protected])
