Hove owners and trainers enjoyed a sociable and friendly Annual Awards evening held on Saturday 13 March in the newly renovated Sprinters Bar at Hove Stadium. Awards (kindly presented by Daryl Williams) as follows –
DOG OF THE YEAR GRADED
TULLNA HAWK (Westmead Hawk-Greenwell Puma, Nov ’09) won nine high grade races before ending his career in A1 last November after 155 races. He was owned by Jenny Bateman and trained by Derek Knight.
BITCH OF THE YEAR GRADED
MINNIES ELENA (Scolari Me Daddy-Pots And Pans, Apr 13) won eight of her 33 races at the track over three different distances. She is owned by Mr S Maplesden and trained by Doreen Walsh.

SWIFT MESSI (Sep 09 whelp) owned by the Glum Sinners and trained by Norah McEllistrim He ran 202 races from Feb 2011 winning 32 races and placed second 65 times retiring uninjured in Dec 2015
SIZZLERS EAGLE owned by Mr DP Cokk and trained by Norah McEllistrim. He ran consistently well winning 11 open races at top level land placed second 6 times
