Bolshoi Booze (Kinloch Brae-Breeze Hill Juli, Sep 12) made it eight wins from nine races over Romford’s 225m course when landing Friday night’s £500 final. Bred by Julie McCombe, the Phil Simmonds trained black has won 30 of his 80 races at the track. (If had placed £10 on him for every race of his career, you would currently be £182 in credit.).
Choptop Blakey (Vans Escalade-Rising Spirit, Jul 14) extended his winning sequence to four when landed the £500 maiden final for Ernie Gaskin. His winning time in the final was 24.16, identical to the semi final and one spot slower than the first win.
The performance of the night was the 23.79 (+10) run by Droopys Schnozz (Aero Majestic-Droopys Solange, Oct 14) in a one-off maiden.
