Charity Buster took his UK unbeaten streak to five when running away with the £2,500 KAB Maiden Derby at Henlow.
John Lambe’s black, who came into the event with two Perry Barr A1 wins on his card, went to traps as the 6-4f despite having a couple of spots to find on fastest qualifier Blackrose Tiny (5-2).
That confidence looked well placed as Buster led from from Eric Cantillons bitch and then cleared the first bend. He pulled away to win by four lengths from Nice Chance with Tiny bumped out of contention.
Buster crossed the winning line in the fastest time of the night, 27.43, and including Irish form (29.27 Clonmel) is now unbeaten in his last seven.
