- The revamped Central Park circuit is unveiled by owners the Arena Racing Company. In the course of the £500K upgrade, they discover that the circumference of the track had originally been measured incorrectly by 11 metres. All race distances are adjusted accordingly. At 454m, the Central Park circuit is only one metre smaller than Hove.
