Puppy sensastion Arkady made it six wins in eight outings when landing the fastest semi final of the ARC Puppy Trophy on Thursday night.

The Romford raider was never challenged in messy qualifier which saw half the field beaten a distance.

He went on to win by almost 10 lengths on a ‘normal’ track, giving him a virtually identical clock to his first round run.

The 2-5f was followed home by 9-1 Narcos Chapo (11-1) and Narcos Big Bob (9-1).

The other semi also went in favour of the bookies with George Stark’s 4-1 chance Westforth Ceejay heading a blanket finish from joint favourites Snake Root and Biscuit Billy.

The winner’s time was also almost identical to his previous calculated clock.
