Trinity Forest bids for a six-timer in the all-railer final of the Bar One Racing Irish Sprint Cup over 400 yards at Dundalk.

David Kennedy’s dog has been brilliant in the competition doing; it from the front and behind, and last week went quickest in the semi-finals with 21.08sec.

He seems to run well from any trap and can make another decent start and be in front from the opening turn.

Ronnie McKeown’s Catherines Drico looks the main danger. His best performance in the competition came in the second round when scoring in 21.11sec but has a terrible slot in five to master.

John McGee’s Hillcroft Hero, who won the other semi-final in 21.15sec, has to race from an even worse trap six.

The best drawn runner in the final is Gerry Holian’s Slipalong Hero. He tends to be better in the second half of the race but does have 21.12sec on his card from round two.

Blenheim Cracker keeps defying huge odds to get this far, while the other outsider Trewmount Blue, who won in the second round in 21.23sec and cannot be safely ruled out.

1) Slipalong Hero 6-1, 2) Blenheim Cracker 10-1, 3) Trinity Forest 6-4, 4) Trewmount Blue 10-1, 5) Catherines Drico 11-4 6) Hillcroft Hero 11-2
