English Derby runner-up Tynwald Bish got back in winning ways in the third round of the Bar One Racing Irish Sprint Cup over 400 yards at Dundalk.

Peter Cronin’s runner was led by the favourite Catherines Drico but got up close home to score by three quarters of a length in 21.31sec, the joint fastest of the round.

The other joint fastest winner was John McGee’s Hillcroft Hero who led from the opening turn to beat Lislevane Swift by almost two lengths in 21.31sec.

David Kennedy’s Trinity Forest made it four wins on the spin in heat one when beating Trewmount Blue by a length and a half in 21.34sec.

Gerry Holian’s Slipalong Hero landed the last qualifier in 21.52sec.

Martin Lanney’s Droopys Navas landed the Boylesports Irish Derby Trial Stake over 550 yards when leading from the opening turn to beat Meadowvale Thril by three and a half lengths in 30.15sec.
