In the eighth race I’m with Lostrigg Freddy (R8 T2). A greyhound who is a model of consistency, in his last six starts he’s won four and been second in the other two. Barrie Drapers greyhound turns four years of age this month and last time he was a winner in the grade in a decent 29.19. The same clock as the run before which saw him finish 2nd a grade higher in A1. There is plenty of pace on the outside and I can see potential traffic problems on the outer. Freddy on the other hand can tuck in at the boxes before kicking for home down the back. It won’t be easy but the grader hasn’t penalised his win so let’s stick with a greyhound in form. £50 win
The second selection is a greyhound I was against last week and he finished third. Trumpers Deano (R7 T2) is a greyhound who must lead as soon as possible. Last week that was never going to happen but tonight I feel he has a good opportunity to get to the front early. He should out box Kranky David (T1) and get across to the fence. Deano is hit and miss himself at the boxes but on his day this ultra consistent, battle hardened campaigner could just have the race run to suit and take gold medal number 18 of his career. £50 win

So tonight’s pick is in the Coyote Storm (T3). I appreciate this dog hasn’t run for a few weeks but on his previous form he should have a great chance to come out the boxes and lead this field to victory. £100 win
