Saturday proved a great night for Graham Holland with three of the five Easter Cup at winners at Shelbourne Park, and Ballydoyle Valor outshining some of his more celebrated kennelmates. However there would be a decent argument to suggest that puppy Newinn Taylor put them all in the shade at Limerick as he extended his career unbeaten run to seven races in a stunning 28.38.
The calibre of racing is generally not high at this time of year, but there are performances of note among them, check out Uncle Bertie (Cork), Springside Amy (Youghal) and Sober Express (Kilkenny) in particular.
Last, but not least, a shout out for the old boys and another win for veteran Powerful Boy, his third in the last five at Mullingar.
