Track specialists Evanta Fantasy and Fivestar Clipper both extended their Romford open race tallies on Friday night to put them on the edge of the 20 most prolific open winners at the track in the new Millennium.
Derek Knight’s Clipper, four in August, has won 19 of his 32 races at the track, one more win gets him into the top 20. Mark Wallis’ Fantasy, who is a month younger, and debuted in A5 at Yarmouth, has 18 wins from 33 outings – four wins short of Stoney Lady – the top female on the chart and with the Golden Sprint firmly in her sights.
