Following hugely successful St.Leger and Birmingham Cup competitions, Perry Barr attracted 72 entries for the ARC sponsored English Oaks.
Racing Manager Martin Seal said: “I was worried that we may be some way off the 72 entries, given it was quite a late entry in the Calendar but we just about made it.
“It includes three Irish entries, Skywalker Cilla, trained by Mark O’Donovan and Maria Kennedy’s pair Billys Diva and Good Diva. There is also an interesting one in Front Amani, who is now trained by Kevin Proctor. She beat Susie Sapphire a couple of times in the Oaks earlier in the year. (She won a semi final in 27.94 at Shelbourne Park).
“But there are also some very high class UK based bitches, Jaguar Macie, Newinn Liz, the two Coolavanny bitches, Ballymac Trend, the Produce Stakes winner Pocket Lola, and plenty more.”
