Drive On Royal was ‘rewarded’ with trap six in Saturday’s semi-finals of the Pat Henerty Sales Oaks over 525 yards at Cork after clocking the best time in last week’s semi-finals.

The victory completed a treble for Thomas O’Donovan’s runner, who produced a powerful performance to lead off the third turn and beat Invinciblejackie by five and a half lengths in 28.37sec.

Luckily the Westmead Hawk bitch isn’t reliant on an early lead but isn’t short of acceleration either. She is fancied to assert from halfway.

Rafas Wee Star, Sunrise Ice and Rastafari Chic are all out and gone types and each of them could slip the field.

Leeview Lady is fancied to take the opening semi-final.

Graham Holland’s bitch is unbeaten in the stake after overcoming trouble to record 29.11sec in the heats and last week giving a start and a neck beating to Sunrise Ice in 28.65sec. She is expected to quickly put this race to bed.

Juvenile finalist Aguasantas looks a danger from trap one, while sole seeded runner Tyrur Susan, is another to throw into the mix.
