New dates for St.Leger

Perry Barr racing manager Martin Seal has been in touch to advise that there has been a change in dates for the St.Leger.

He said:”Following discussions with the GBGB, as Newcastle’s Cat 2 Great North Run over 670m has moved a week later to accommodate some other changes before it, with the Final on Thursday 25^th October, we have decided to move the dates of the St Leger back a week in the calendar to endeavour to accommodate connections of those greyhounds which might considering entering both competitions.

“Therefore, the first round of the Leger will now take place on Sunday 4^th November, with the semi-finals a week later on Sunday 11^th November and the final on the evening of Saturday 17^thNovember. All other details remain the same.

“Open races over the Leger trip of 710m have been advertised for 22^nd September as well as 6^th, 13^th, 20^th and 27^th  October.”
