Swindon received 91 entries for Saturday’s English Oaks first round, meaning 19 runners have been placed on the reserve list.
Racing manager Clive Oseman said: “Apologies to anyone who wasn’t accepted. Most of the leading fancies pick themselves but once you get down to the last five, there are probably ten contenders of very similar ability. We can only do our best.”
Staged over 476 metres for the first time and with a first prize of £15,000, the Saturday-Wednesday-Monday-Saturday concludes with a final on December 14 which will be broadcast on RPGTV.
* Stardom – who was dually entered at Shelbourne Park has been withdrawn from the list of entries by GBGB and replaced by reserve Ashbank Grace.
