Roxholme Nidge completed an unbeaten run through the Romford Puppy Cup on Friday night.

In one of the classiest finals for years, the Hayley Keightley trained brindle rocked clear from the inside draw. He was pursued by an impressive runner-up in King Elvis, who arguably looked less a ‘Romford dog’ than the kennel’s assessment of the winner. (Time and distances below)

It was Nidge’s sixth win in seven outings – he was KO’d in the other.
