The weather took its toll on racing in Yorkshire on Friday night with both Sheffield and Kinsley both forced to bring proceedings to a premature halt.
Sheffield had managed to get through four of the eleven scheduled races when the hare developed electrical problems in the torrential rain and it proved impossible to resolve the problems, leaving the management with no choice but to call a halt.
Kinsley fared better as they managed to run ten of their fourteen races, but with the track estimated at 110 spots slow the deluge proved too much and they abandoned the remainder of their programme.
