Newinn Yolo continued with his rehab by clocking 28.12 in a 480 metre solo trial at Perry Barr on Monday.
Trainer Pat Rosney said: “I was pleased with the run. It was only one spot quicker than his previous trial but he didn’t trap as well, his sectional was nine spots slower, so it is steady improvement.”
The Leyland handler was also thrilled with Yolo’s recently arrived half brother, Newinn Champ.
He said: “Champ did 16.29 for the sprint which is a great run for a 15 month old pup having his first trial since joining us.”
