Drumcrow Logan has been made the 5-4 ‘early prices’ favourite (Bet 365) for the Greene King IPA East Anglian Challenge Final; the highlight of the six opens on tonight’s RPGTV televised card from Yarmouth.

They then bet 11-4 Rob Roy, 5-1 Mary Goodnight, 8-1 bar.

The final is the last leg of the Pick6 jackpot pool which gets underway on race six. There is a carry-over pool of £1,495 which should swell by several hundred pounds by the time the 7.52pm race goes to traps.

The pool is operated by 24Dogs with a direct link into the track’s own tote. The minimum stake is £1. So how big could it get?

24Dogs Senior Operation Manager Chris Aldworth said: “Jackpots of £5,000-£6,000 are quite common though they have normally been carried over several meetings to get to that stage. I can remember one of around £18,000. Of course, one you get to somewhere around the £15,000 mark, there are people who try to ‘buy it’.

“It is easier said than done though because theoretically there are 46,656 combinations for six races each with six runners.”
