Connections of East Anglian Derby entries will be able to see the draw take place at GBGB offices on Friday morning.
Entries include Jaytee Spartacus, Southfield Jock, Castell Henry, Irish entry Peregrine Falcon and last year’s winner Do It For Twiggy.
Racing manager Marcus Westgate said: “I would like to apologise to all those who won’t get a run. We had 60 entries despite the lack of sponsor and reduced prize money and it was very tough leaving anybody out, particularly when they are good supporters of the track.
“I suppose Peregrine Falcon is the most interesting runner, I can’t remember an international entry before, but there are a lot of very good greyhounds. The one surprise omission is All About Shea who won the fastest trialstake. His trainer Ken Dawson said he was concerned that the dog wouldn’t take the quick runs and he had to put the dog’s welfare first.”
