Yarmouth’s Greyhound of the Month for January was Marlfield Josie (Shaneboy Lee-Marlfield Ellie, May 12), owned by Mr RA Sutton and trained by Jane Craske.
It was a long overdue success for the strong finishing black who once reeled off nine consecutive second places and had never won beyond A4. Yet she started the year with a straight hat-trick in A3, A2 and A1.
