The markets are looking particularly volatile as a combination of well matched teams and confusing trap draws see unusually open betting for the Trainers Championship tonight at Towcester.
Champion trainer Mark Wallis, who might have been expected to be a short priced favourite told Star readers of his concerns over his four bend team, and he has been further handicapped by a recent bout of sickness. Having started the day at 11-4 and has drifted to 3-1.
The big punt of the day was Kevin Hutton who was quoted at 6-1 by Corals earlier in the day but was cut to 7-2. The 4-1 about Seamus Cahill has also been clipped to a general 7-2. Paul followers can still find 8-1 though the 33-1 about John Mullins has gone. He is now 20s.
