Wimbledon is to stage, quite possibly, its smallest ever meeting on Friday when just 32 runners are due to go to traps, split between six races, including four five-runner events. It is the first meeting where new trainer June Harvey will supply graded runners.
The track’s Saturday card will be the usual 12 races, all graded, a requirement of the BAGS contract.
Wimbledon’s first greyhound meeting in May 1928 featured a seven-race card.
