Former local A2 runner Wiki Waki Woo (7-2) set the standard in the heats of the Partex Marking Systems Prestige at Hall Green.
Angie Kibble’s black flew past early leader Farloe Lara before beating Droopys Kolarov by nine lengths in 39.39.
There was a similar style to the second heat. On this occasion it was Jayte Osprey who led up but she was eventually put to the sword by Mark Wallis’ Billys Bullet (9-2) who prevailed by seven in 39.56.
The final heat was another defeat for favourite punters but altogether a closer affair as Surpeme Turbo (3-1) short headed Dineo on the winning line in a time of 39.74.
