Carl Perry faces a difficult decision following another great personal effort on Tuesday night, but being let down by his challengers.
Although his first selection was chinned, he opposed ‘good thing’ Sharpys Rocket with 4-1 winner Ivy Belucky for a £150 profit on the night. The plan was to ‘rest’ either Connor or Nick for the next outing, depending on who did the worst. You can guess the rest. Over to you Carl!
As for NEWCASTLE. . . . the memory of Tuesday night will go alongside that time you took on the tequila shot challenge after six pints of Kronenbourg and a lamb bhuna. Best forgotten about.
SUNDERLAND
At Sunderland, Chris Leeson has been in form each of the last two meetings with £150 profits each night.

Sabrina Mojo (R5 T6) Just the one selection tonight. This bitch ran really well last time out in a very pacey a2 and tonight’s race is a much easier A2. Her sectionals out of trap 6 aren’t the best but she doesn’t look to be trap dependent. The only dog that looks capable of going to the bend with her is Ballysax Hot (T4) which is very ‘hitty missy’ at the traps, even turning second Sabrina should be going home with the gold medal £100 win
Krista McNicholas:
Possibly (R3 T6) I think this bitch is better suited to handicaps and she is not giving a big start away. With four railers in front of her she should get a good run. She has a fair strike rate in handicaps. £60 win
Sabrina Mojo (R5 T6) She is yet to win a race but I think today will be her day. A repeat of last week will see her hard to beat £40 win
Chetwynd Polly (R8 T6) Probable trouble in front and I think she will pick up the pieces. £100 win
YARMOUTH
Liam writes: “Tonight is the night where Megan Barnard gets another crack at turning over a profit. Her words were “I just want to beat George (Turner) at something”. With that- welcome back George!
Last Wednesday, the three Yarmouth tipsters,Lim Aspin, Jason Seely and Dave Prentice made a combined return of £816.25 (profit £516.25).

I start tonight with an A8 grade affair and my selection is Germania Jaxx (R3 T6) for Pam Cross. Just an August 18’ puppy, this bitch is on the improve and by keeping wide can take her first victory tonight. £50 win
Just 2 selections for me tonight and I finish with Beaniesthebest (R5 T4) for Graham Howes. Very much taking a chance on this dog but with Irish lines reading A1, I’d be surprised if he can’t soon be competitive in this A7. It’s going to be a game of catching this dog just right- I need to hope it’s tonight! £50 win
Megan Barnard:
Megan starts her evening off in the very first race, Suirview Mia (R1 T3) for Erica Samuels. A winner last time out after making all there was nothing to fault about that performance. If coming away like that again, there’s no reason we can’t see a repeat of those tactics. £50 win
Second and final selection for Megan is Headford Olly (R2 T4) in race 2 for Maurice Rice. Just got chinned last time out but he does look a winner in waiting. It’s quite a ‘trappy’ race but if turning in a pitch he’s a big player. £50 win
George Turner:
George has gone for Hardwood Mustang (R4 T6) trained by Jane Craske as his first selection. George said “ I tipped this dog up a couple of weeks ago and I think it can be the same performance again tonight, lead off the front and kick clear. I think the three is a danger and was a big eye catcher on her first week after the restart, but slow starts are her downfall.”. £50 win
Last up for George is Rocky Wolf (R9 T4) for Richard Clarke. George said: “As with my other tip I think this can be out and gone. He does have a tendency too swing wide at the 2nd bend, but on a 16.40 Central Park sprint solo and 16.53 here, he should be in front round the first and build a winning advantage”. £50 win
