When you get elevated to the first team you have to take your chance. Last minute SHEFFIELD sub Rob Crawford and Glynn Dobbs both went all-in on 5-2 (7 length) winner Blue Wave for a £250 profit. As for Carl Perry, there has a letter gone to his parents suggesting he is spending too long studying horseracing form and not doing his greyhound homework. (-£100).
At NEWCASTLE, there is one cocky Jimmy strutting about the place for the next 24 hours, and he has a Geordie accent. Wor Jimmy Fenwick went for a £100 straight win on a 7-4 chance and finished the night with a £175 profit. Jock Jimmy Wright will be covering up the tartan until further notice (-£100). (Actually its not Jimmy’s tartan. Angela was a Bay City Rollers fan. ‘Yeah she sang Shang A Lang when she ran with the gang’). Steve Anderson will be burning the lucky pants after he has stopped posing in the mirror. (-£100).

Editors have memories like wives, they have great memories for all your failings. So just in case you have forgotten last week’s efforts gentlemen, I would like to remind you that Sam Linley, your tipping was the equivalent of something that floats on a slurry pit. George Stark and Graham Strike, your tipping was the equivalent of something that feeds off the bottom of a slurry pit. Best of luck lads!

Pixel (R8 T1) I’m putting all my eggs in one basket with this bitch tonight. It’s a dream draw, she is very consistent on her times and is a bang railer. The blue misses the bends and has good early so will leave all the room in the world for Pixel to take the race £100 win
George Stark
Slaney Gypsey (R5 T1) Has been knocking at the door a bit the last few runs, a quick break should see her break her duck tonight! £30 win

Somehow or other, Dave Prentice and Brett Hughes made it back from a long walk off a short Britannia Pier following Monday’s total and complete humiliation. Dave is keeping his head down. Brett obviously has cajones like beach balls in going for a £100 double. If all else fails, *we can always rely on the Cash Machine to get us out of trouble in the last race. (*Terms and conditions apply.)

There will be dogs in the Derby heats tonight who shave chunks off their trial times the tricky bit is guessing who? So I’m going with dogs who have already banked quick times,
Droopys Dazzler (R6 T1) Posted an excellent 27.70 on his 2nd look here and with Roxys Teddy in 2 sure to move off slightly will have plenty of room up the rail and if reproducing anything like his latest trial will prove hard to hold in here.
I’m banking on the long journey down being worth it for the Harrison kennel. The second selection is Levante Beach (R8 T3) like his kennel mate in five he’s posted two sub 28.00 second trials here the only difference being the sectional times. Levante Beach just looks that bit quicker to the corner and I think he can lead from trap to line. £100 double

Derinasafa Coco (R12 T3) I tipped this bitch last week but she was very unlucky in running. She got stuck behind Andrew Wilson’s Shes A Blake didn’t really know how to pass. But this week she should lead the inside up and make all £100 win.
