If we are all sitting comfortably, today’s lesson is all about losers.
Carl Perry is a loser. Carl decided he could pick three winners for a £100 trouble. Carl knew his fate when the first one bit the dust but then saw the next two win at 6-4 and 5-4. Carl sometimes wishes he wasn’t such a flash sod. However, Carl doesn’t feel as big a loser as Darren Driver and Glynn Dobbs who both picked the wrong one in the ‘sprint match’. Darren and Glynn will be avoiding mirrors all day. THREE x -£100
Jimmy Wright is not a loser, he is a smug Jock who showed a profit of £43.75. Put another way, that’s £143.75 more than Rab McNair won on Sunday! Jimmy Fenwick and Steve Anderson will be spending most of the day trying to pick the winners of solo trials.
There are always openings for new faces on the Tipsters Challenge.
If you fancy a crack – we’d love to hear from you.
Health warning – this is NOT for sensitive flowers

Pity Me Tiger (R7 T5) is one of our kennel runners and last weeks calculated time doesn’t do her justice. She came from a close pack off the 2nd bend last week with the winner a good five lengths in front and she just ate the ground up on the run in, a clearer run early doors tonight should see her taking first prize £30 win
Fairholme Posh (R12 T4) ran a deadheat with T3 last time and didnt show her best trapping boots, she had a fortnight between runs and think she will be sharper this week and one of her better breaks will see her winning again £60 win £10 double
George Stark
Posh Alana (R8 T3) Prior to Lockdown Alana was running in better grade than tonight’s race. Her short head defeat last week shows she is heading in the right direction regarding fitness. The winner of last weeks race followed up in an A4 on yesterday BAGS card, improving on last weeks time. There is no reason why tonight can’t be Alana‘s Night! £50 win
Tornaroy Bullet (R11 T3) I think this drop to A2 could see Bullet back to winning ways. He has a few rough rides of late, a quick break and trouble free run should see him back in the Winners Enclosure! £50 win
Graham Strike
Thai Lady (R3 T1) Handy last time when getting trouble should get good run here as T3 and T4 look boxed for trouble £20 winTouch the Clouds (R6 T6) Guaranteed a solo as trap 5 will move left on run up as is bang railer and a repeat of last week’s time will be enough £40 win
Kapalua (R9 T3) Nothing to find on trials has improved each run and has a 100 rating in Drumbo for the sprint which should be good enough here. £40 win
YARMOUTH
Fare effort on debut from local owner and taxi driver Brett Hughes on Monday. (Jimmy Fenwick normally claims ownership of all the dad jokes). Decent damage limitation effort from Lee and Dave.

Really tough card tonight but I’ve managed to come up with 2 selections. First up is Thischarmingman (R4 T3). This February 16 veteran is a model of consistency. He has been a fantastic servant to the Barnard kennel and is one of my favourite dogs. He should lead the inside pair no problem and providing he can hold Aberlady at the corner he can go on to score. £50win
Next up is Comeout Kipper (R7 T3). I’ve followed this bitch over a cliff in recent weeks and I’m going with her again tonight. It’s a race full of early pace types and I’m hoping tonight is the night it all clicks. She can make the bend in front and has a couple of goalkeepers in behind who can hold up Dollar Princess who looks sure to be finishing late and fast. £50 win.
Dave Prentice
A very hard card at Yarmouth tonight. My best bet will be Aberlady (R4 T4). The biggest danger will be clearing T3. If doing so, runs very well when on the bunny. She needs the line off the last bend – 28.50 looks enough to win it – and should be good enough to hold on. £80 win.
My other bet is taking a chance on a bitch Eureka Creek (R5 T3) that is three grades lower over the 462 but looks like she stays all day has 620 form at Peterborough and hopes she picks them up in time £20 win
Lee Calcutt
Friend In Me (R7 T2) hoping for a Toy Story production here from trainer Richard Clarke. This Nov’18 pup looks to have potential to be going up the grades soon and can get the early run on T1 inside it.
£50 win
Adamant Taurus (R11 T4) A really nice early paced recruit for Jane Craske. This its first race albeit in a top company A1 affair I believe he can soon get his head in front and dictate affairs. Constant 5.3X sectionals and a 13.66 trial round Romford indicates a good future ahead. Only negative was the awkward comment on his trial pre-lock down but the break may have done this youngster the world of good.
£50 win
