MONMORE CATEGORY 3 OPEN COMPETITION ENTRIES CLOSE TODAY

Owners and trainers are reminded that entries for a number of category 3 open competitions scheduled to take place at Monmore this coming Saturday evening close today at 11am. The two round competitions carry a winners prize of £500 (£100 others) with heat winners receiving £300 (£65 others). There are opportunities for standard and puppy 480m , 630m distance and also 264m sprinters. Entries can be made via telephone at 01902 456663 or email at [email protected]
TOWCESTER REHOMING FUNDRAISING EFFORTS
Those in attendance at Towcester for the Star Sports Bookmakers / TRC English Greyhound Derby so far couldn’t have failed to have noticed the superb fundraising efforts of a number of volunteers and their willing greyhound partners. Headed by Gail May (owner / kennel hand) and Carly Philpott (GBGB stipendiary steward) plus a whole host of enthusiastic volunteers have been busy between races introducing themselves and the greyhounds to racegoers in the hope of raising much needed funds for the likes of Whittingham kennels , Lincolnshire Greyhound Trust and Retired Greyhounds Canterbury. The team are hoping to raise £2000 with the total currently standing at £1240. TOWCESTER OPENS CLOSE NOON TODAY
A number of opens at Towcester this coming Sunday close for entry at NOON TODAY. Those include heats of the Bombay Bitches Trophy and the Genco Puppy invitation as well as other opportunities over a variety of distances.
