Droopys Vodka, who clocked the fastest time of the year at Kinsley a few weeks ago, trialled over 480 metres at Sheffield on Tuesday.
Jimmy Wright’s runner recorded a useful 27.64sec on going rated as .20sec fast. The fastest time of the year is Roxholme Dream’s 27.38.
Wright’s leading sprinter Walshes Hill was also in action clocking 15.97sec in a solo trial over 280 metres.
