Sidarian Vega clocked the quickest time in the heats of the GMHD Juvenile classic over 525 yards at Tralee on Friday.
Graham Holland’s runner flew out and made all to beat Droopys Saab by eight and a half lengths in 28.41sec.
Holland had a double with Hovex Prince in heat four. He led off the second turn to score a three length win in 29.08sec.
Owen McKenna also had a double with Farloe Rumble and Go Django.
Farloe Rumble rode an early bump in heat six to lead off the second turn and score in 28.45sec. Go Django made all to score easily in 28.51sec.
Liam Dowling’s Aguasantas made all to land the opening heat in 28.76sec, while Pat Buckley’s Paradise Galaxy made most in heat two to clock 28.89sec.
Margaret Danaher’s Teds Last was soon clear in the penultimate heat to record 28.89sec.
Brendan Maunsell’s Fire Height Tosh caught long-time leader Coolavanny Kerry in heat five to prevail by a short head in 28.73sec.
