A mixed night for the tipsters
At NEWCASTLE Jimmy Fenwick had another winning night with 6-4 chance Blue Delta delivering on the £60 punt for a profit of £50. Mark Cranston ‘never showed’ first time out but came good on his return with an ‘all in’ £100 on 6-4 chance Lemon Noah (he should have tipped it to Jimmy!) for a £150 profit on the night. John Wilkinson made a forgettable debut.
Am beginning to wonder whether the SHEFFIELD squad needs a bit of rotation. They had a bit of success and early doors but might now be having a crafty fag behind the goal.
Not saying who might find themselves training with the reserves but Carl Perry will feel safe after £40 on 11-8 winner Sharpys Junior plus £40 on 5-4 winner Droopys Wild for an £85 profit. (His third selection was beaten in a photo). Connor Wrigglesworth also hit the bar twice with two second places.
Recent top scorer Nick Taylor let himself down, let his track down, and most sadly let the punters down! We will listening to offers from the Azerbaijan second division.
SUNDERLAND
A reminder that the Sunderland trio have been in pretty reasonable form. Sam Linley had a shocker last week, Krista had a small loss with Chris Leeson the £150 profit prize guy..

Sam Linley:
Fahee Jess (R10 T3) She showed plenty of improvement last week coming out of season made a lot of ground up from halfway. T2 although moving middle on the run up should lead and jess looks like will tuck in behind very handy and lead coming for home £40 win
Westforth Hugo (R12 T6) Hugo was very unlucky after the trouble at the first bend last week, although there is pace in the race it looks an easier a1 and hugo is normally a contender in the top a1s. Clear run early doors and the race is his. £60 win
Krista McNicholas:
I think Mill Caz (R8 T2) is the best in the race. She has certainly been running in better company than these. Although I think our other dog in the race Spitfire Star is a big danger, as he has got good early and will lead the race, I don’t think he will be good enough to hold off Caz who will be finishing best of all. I would do a reverse forcast as a saver, but I’m going all out. £100 win.
Jamaica Judge (R5 T4) He has winning form over a few in the race and should improve with having little experience at the track. £60 win
Drumdoit Paddy (R8 T5) He was an A4 runner at Monmore and should be better than A7 Sunderland £40 win

Just the one selection for me tonight, on what I thought looked a tightly graded card. Hardwood Jef (R4 T4) runs for Jane Craske in this A7 and is my selection. I tipped this dog last time out and if I’m honest he didn’t really have any excuses. He fell into a hole coming home but did find trouble off the last bend which makes the time look worse than it was likely to be. I think his two runs previous to that are good enough to win this. Trap 4 has a tendency to swing off the 2nd bend too, I can’t see anything but Hardwood Jef leading. It’s just about him holding on. £100 win
Jason Seely:
Jason has chosen two of his kennel dogs for this evening, with the first of those being Snowflake Girl (R3 T6). Jason said, “This bitch has a real strong finish and in tonight’s race it looks like she will be up with the pace early so if getting around the bend clean she should finish the strongest of these. Her 28.50 times are good enough here. The danger looks to be the Pam Cross trained No Place For Me who put in a decent time of 28.46 last time out but was tying up a little towards the end so should be a strip fitter for that run.” £50 win
The final pick for Jason is the red hot Black Mystery (R12 T5). Jason said, “This bitch has electric early speed and won very nicely last week clocking an impressive 27.82. Another ping break like that and she will be the one to catch again tonight. The dog I make the danger is Sophies Sparkle for trainer Jane Craske as she is a strong finisher, but I do feel that there could be more to come from the Mystery. £50 win
David Prentice:
David has also chosen a kennel star for this evening but starts off with Jura Buu (R6 T3). He said: “My first bet is from the inform Maurice Rice kennel, veteran Jura Buu. The inside two don’t have too much early and I can see her Infront at the second bend and should get home from there” £40 win
For the second choice David has chosen one his own Somersham Joey (R10 T5). David said: “Somersham Joey is a dog from my own kennel. He will be last to the bend but will be coming home faster than anything if he gets the gaps.” £20 win
David’s final choice goes to Tranquil Vista (R11 T1) for Irene Barnard. David said, “Third tip is Tranquil Vista, a dog which has been finding trouble recently but looks like getting a clear run tonight.” £40 win
