If the tipping contest is anything to go by, Sheffield’s on-course bookies must be saving themselves a fortune by staying away.

They were at it again on Saturday night and it was Connor Wrigglesworth‘s chance to kick ass. He popped up with a £40 win on Mask of Zorro (returned 2-1jf) and £60 on Kennys Dream (incorrectly shown as Kennys Vision, yesterday, but there was only one Kennys in the field) who returned at 8-11. Total profit £223.

Nick Taylor had two £50 selections for one 11-4 winner for yet another profitable night of £87.50.

Carl Perry stretched his winning sequence to five with a £60 win on Kennys Dream. His other leg let him down, but that still resulted in a profit of £3.64.

It is the first time since the competition started last week that all three tipsters have all had a winning nigh at the same meeting and all three tipsters are in profit since the competition started.

CENTRAL PARK

Tonight we see the introduction of Central Park to the challenge and a three way battle between Tony Collett, Mark Fenwick and Spencer Mavrias. Tony is picking one of Mark’s but none of his own. Hmmm!

The form:

The views:

Tony Collett:

Get Up Ali (R2 T2) will need to get first run on T3, but is a strong dog coming home.£40 win
Dashwood Laird (R4 T4) was gambled last run (4-5f) and was in all sorts of trouble. With a clear run should go close. £40 win
Pinewood Slim (R10 T2) Comes off the pace the race looks to suit him. £20 win.

Mark Fenwick:

Serenity Tuna (R3 T6) Tony Collett is always a trainer to follow at CP and his bitch was running in D2 before lockdown. She has won d3 previously and looks a good thing again £50 win.

Im Shanes King (R7 T2) Dan Brabon’s dog has been backed every time it has run. But tonight think he may get a run at them round the first bend £30 win.

Ballykevin Sarah (R8 T2) My own lady I think may have a small chance if the gaps open up for her. She dived into the rails from 4 last time and then found loads of trouble. if she’s close she will be finishing strongly and could go close £20 win

Spencer Mavrias:

Treanaree Lee (R2 T3) Ran very well first time back. You don’t always know if it will go flat after the bounce, but he looks good enough. I make the five the danger £25 win

Holborn Runtowin (R6 T5) Tony’s dogs have come back flying and I think Runtowin looks good enough here. There is an unknown in three and the selection will have to come from off the pace. £50 win

Ernest (R7 T3) The red has good early pace but doesn’t always trap and I think Ernest should get a run. I watched him over four bends and he led some decent dogs but didn’t stay. I thin this is an easier D1 than last time. If the four was anywhere near his best he would be a good bet in here but his recent trials suggest he isn’t quite there yet. £25 win
