A return to the all conquering Sheffield trio this evening. We don’t have a Hove challenge but will introduce one for next Saturday should anyone fancy raising a team.

So – last night – NOTTINGHAM. Look away Mark Pierrepont and Mal Shenton – empty pockets. Much better though from the previous non-chaser Colin Wilton who invested a mythical £80 on 6-4 winner Somermead Guest for a £100 profit on the night.

A first night at ROMFORD and nothing much to brag about for Craig Morris 0/2. Don’t think we are judging you Craig. Though we are! Syndicate head Billy Brennan went for two selections, the bigger fancy went down, but as predicted, Troy Firebird didn’t miss his cupboards two races in a row and romped up carrying £40 at 6-4. A break even night for Billy.

After two impressive nights, Carl Perry is looking to build on his flawless 4/4 strike rate with Nick Taylor building on his £300 profit on Wednesday. Conor Wrigglesworth showed improvement last time out (-£40).

For the Sheffield selections it is a very quite night far the kennel just the 2 runners and 4 trialers both having there first race back post lockdown . Would expect both to need the race especially Geelo Precious after a very long lay off .. but still they look some good bets to get stuck into striking with the 2 selection attack .
Kennys Dream (R9 T1) was a big eye catcher when last seen just a few day’s ago Wednesday night behind a good winner in A6 he doesn’t have much early but moves well from 2/3 and stays it well trap 2 should give him the perfect tow round and he will have all the room he needs down the back as 2 is a rails to middle runner £60 winHarton Bea (R8 T6) ran very well on return to racing finishing second to Maddison prince she was just picked up off last bend when she run wide she’s sure to strip fitter for the run and will take all the beating can’t see getting rich backing her but a winners a winner  £40 win.

Nick Taylor:

Tonight is a card I’m not interested in getting too involved with, but hopefully I’ve managed to find some value in my selections. First up I’ve gone for Casino Deejay (R1 T1) who is sure to build on last weeks first run back. He’ll need to stay with the early leaders in 2-4 to have any chance of picking them off late on but I’m willing to chance him at what should be a decent price. I can see T6 being a false favourite here but can’t see how it possibly clears T5 to the turn and by that time the race should’ve passed him by. £50 win
Next pick is a pure punt at what should be a price too big not to chance, Droopys Wild (R3 T3), left a couple of lengths round the first bend in last weeks trial and will surely improve on the clock, anything like his best form here and he’ll prove a level above these. There’s no early pace outside him and with T1 moving off as usual and potentially holding the two, I’m happy to take a chance at what should be a big price.  £50 win

Conor Wrigglesworth

Mask of Zorro (T) is my first pick of the night. He ran well in his last race after getting a bump on the run-up and just managing to clear the bend. He then pulled away to go a head and win by over 4 length in a time of 29.46. Tonight’s race is a hard one for him with Casino Deejay (T1) and All Round Paddy (T6) both clocking 29.50s in there last races. However, if Mask of Zorro runs like he did last week he’ll hopefully have a chance. Bet £40

My Nap of the Night is in the 9.06 race which is Barrie Draper’s Kennys Dream (T1). Kennys Dream has been running well in his comeback races since lockdown coming, second in both of his previous races. Troy Bedford’s Josies Double looks to be the main danger as she’s consistently clocked a 4.35 split in both her races and should be able to lead up. Kennys Vision is usually slow away out of the boxes and is a tight railer. I believe he will benefit from Bitcoin Jack being in T2 as it should give him a clear run on the rail. £60 win
