There is probably no more dedicated form student than ‘The Big Lad’ Mark Pierrepont and his run continues with another 2/2 last night and a £125 profit. That’s a £500 profit in the last three meetings! (Two more winning meetings and Ben Keith puts out a contract on him).
More of a surprise is a more conservative ‘Double Digit’ Alan Bellis who now wears a double breasted suit and sensible shoes to pick out 5-2 and 3-1 winners for a magnificent £275 profit on the night. Sadly it was left to Sam Tingle to let down himself, his mates, the readership and most of the East Midlands with a shameful -£21.25. Give up on the tipping Sam. Have you ever considered Morris Dancing? Very therapeutic, apparently!
Meanwhile the only Star in the East was Dave Prentice with a £100 all-in on a 10-11 winner for a £90.91 profit. The others? We prefer not to speak of them! The Cash Machine -£100 ate your card and Brett Hughes did his big balls. -£100 Useless Norfolkers
NEWCASTLE
If J0ck Jimmy gets any further behind there would be a worry that he’s stop chasing (+£258.33 v -£200). The Bramble man is keeping his head down

Just the one runner tonight Geelo Nellie she won’t make the Selections but expect as decent run from her.
Race four for my first selection. I make it a match between T4 & T5 and think Coyote Yog (R4 T4) can come out on top. He was second last time out not coming away at his best. A better break can see him getting the better of Exciting Coco who may just need the race she be one for next time in this sought off race £40 win
Woodcocks Romeo (R6 T5) is the dog that’s absolutely flown trough the grades. He racked up a massive six wins from his last seven and I see no reason he doesn’t win again. He showed last time he not just a front running style coming from behind to win but see him leading up here and making all £40 win £20 double
My only selection is Barnish Dilly (R5 T5). This early paced dog totally missed the kick last week and found trouble from the start of the race. Hopefully he can find his trapping boots again for today and with slow starters either side of him, if he can get out in front and cut across as he normally does I feel he will be very hard to beat. £100 win
