At NOTTINGHAM, Mark ‘Big Lad’ Pierrepont is putting in more good performances than bad at the moment (ideal form leading up to the Derby) and confidently flagged up Distant Village for a satisfying £150 profit. The defeat of Goldsmith Teddy cost ‘Morris’ Harnden a treble for though he still made a £20.23 profit (someone’s getting new bells!). Meanwhile bookie Mal Shenton is on his laptop Googling ‘Losing Night’ (-£100).
At YARMOUTH – the Nigel Cash Machine Tanner has been re-booted. One tip – £110 profit. Goo-ta-hell-ba! As for Dave Prentice and Brett Hughes (2 x -£100) . Lads, get yourselves down that Britannia Pier. . . . . start walking . . . and don’t stop until you hear a Dutch accent.
NEWCASTLE
Steve Anderson tests out the lucky pants for a second consecutive meeting. Jimmy Fenwick will be wearing the Newcastle away kit – so no great expectations there. Jimmy Wright will be in his Dirty Leeds United kit so someone could get lumped.

No runners far us again tonight. It’s a good card and winners look hard to come by. Currently on a bad run so need to get back on track.
I’m going for a sprinter who looks to have taken a huge drop in class and be plotted up to soon be back in the winners enclosure. This is border line D3 and Coney Cullican simply (R2) cut above these. Max bet material. £70 win
My other selection is Lightfoot Candy (R4). He’s been on sideline few weeks resting but come back with a flying sprint and his record in this grade is top draw. Has great early and can see him making all in this A5 £30 win
Rob Crawford
As the wheezy kid that was always last to be picked for games at school, it is nice to be called off of the subs bench for tonight’s Tipster Challenge. I know that I am up against some of the sports big hitters (no offence Carl!), lets hope my 85 minutes of warming up along the touchline has put me in good stead for tonight!
For my debut I am going to keep it simple and go for a £100 straight win on Blue Wave (R3 T2). This young bitch is having her first run for Wendy Brown (who recently took over the licence after Willy Brown sadly passed away). She has impressed in trials and I believe will get first run on Kennys Dream on her inside, who has failed to impress after his return for his layoff. £100 win
With Jelly Babies and Wine Gums at the ready, I will be appearing on RPGTV, from the comfort of my living room, this evening, so hopefully I won’t disappoint.

My only election tonight is Blue Wave (R3 T2). This September 18 pup wouldn’t have to find much based on its trial times and should get a nice lead into the bend. If it can reproduce it’s times around Thurles then should take all the beating this this grade. Fingers crossed she can get enough lead up front to hold on for victory. £100 win
