Big Mark Pierrepont maintaining at least some street cred for Team Harnden with an £80 on a 6-4 winner. Profit £100. Terry Urquhart and Colin Mather (both -£100).
One winner apiece for the Yarmouth trio but Lee Calcutt once again came out on top with a £37.50 profit. Dave Prentice (-£42.50) and Brett Hughes (-£35)
As for yesterday’s suggestion that Peter Harnden should take up Morris Dancing as it might bring him less humiliation than tipping losers, it seems I was a bit ‘yesterday’s news’
Have you ever agreed to something after a late night in a pub and wished the next day that your mates had forgotten. ‘
Lads, it was a laugh at the time . . . . . . but providing nobody ever finds out!’

SHEFFIELD
There will be a lot riding on the tenth race tonight. Shrewdie Carl Perry – currently in profit on the month – goes for an uncharacteristic £100 treble (hopefully not decided after a long pleasant evening in his new bar) including one in the sprint final. Darren and Glynn oppose him. Something has to give!

Sharpy Mustard (R7 T1) won like a bitch coming back to her very best last week and see no reason why she doesn’t rattle back up the grades. Ex A2/A3 and still think she’s ahead of the grader £60 win
Really enjoying these graded 660 races there adding that good mixture to the graded cards. I was all in on Southwood Lady last week but am deserting her tonight and take a chance on Causeway Sergie (R8 T2) He has come back a better dog from the lockdown and ran very well at hove unlucky not to make the final he be doing it late and fast but can see him Picking lady up £40 win

In the opener, I’m with Let’s Boogie (R1 T3) for Danny Gomersall. There are a few reasons for suggesting this greyhound is a bet. The head will tell you finally the grader has eased his grip on the dog. Four runs in A5 and tonight he’s finally eased to A6. Admittedly he has generally been big prices and hasn’t had too much luck in running either. However, on the clock he’s been consistent in his runs. He has early pace and been by Aero Majestic he’s bred to stay. The two directly inside equally also have early pace. Fearsome Scholar (T1) is 1 from 1 at the track and the dog in bllue, Trumpers Deano (T2) who I own. Deano must dominate from the start, anything makes him go too hard early he finds the last 20m all too much and doesn’t quite last out. Tonight in truth, I think that is how the race will unfold which won’t suit Deano at all. Danny also has Fairhill Wendy (T5) who surely won’t spoil the party. Why is it a party ? Well, that’s where the heart comes in. Let’s Boogie tonight is having his 100th race. As a present from the assessor he’s been given the dream make up to win his 20th career start. Whilst I honestly want Deano to win, I’m a greyhound lover and a sentimentalist too and nothing tonight would make me more happy than if Let’s Boogie won for his connections on his 100th start. Good luck Boogie and congratulations on making it to a great milestone. £100 win
Tonight’s selections goes in the 7.26, Fearsome Dream (R5 T3). This Feb 19 pup is still learning her trade and missed the kick last week. With a better start from the boxes, she should be very hard to beat if seeing the bunny nice and early. Fingers crossed for a big run. £100 win
