JAYTEE CHINA– Paul Young
She was my nap last year and didn’t let me down and will be the same again. She hurt her shoulder in Ireland but trialled back well and then ran a cracker on Juvenile night at Wimbledon. She ran a great trial at Sittingbourne (28.98 calc) and I am very hopeful of a big race from her.
DROOPYS COTTAGE – Dean Childs
Another is another who is racing for the first time this year, though she has trialled very well (29.23calc ) and is probably the most forward of our runners. We think a lot of her and I am convinced she could make into a high class stayer later in the year.
NEWINN ECHO – Seamus Cahill
Echo has come in as a reserve for Hoof It Kate and she is right up against it. She will be running on at the end but she really isn’t the class of some of the others. This really is a top class bitch’s race.
EVANTA EVITA – Mark Wallis
It was a close call between Evanta and Domino Storm in the bitch’s race but I think Evanta is just coming back to form. She ran very well at Monmore and I would expect her to find a couple of lengths on her Sittingbourne trial which was decent enough any. Am quite happy with the draw.
FOREST SARA – Kevin Hutton
She probably has our best chance but it is still a very high class race taking on the likes of Jaytee China. I am happy with the draw, she beat El Pedro fair and square last time out and is the most in-form runner at the kennel.
MULLPARK CLARE – John Mullins
Clare is running in place of Toosey Jeannie and is out of her depth here. She is no more than a good grader at Yarmouth and I will be pleasantly surprised if she doesn’t finish last.
