Towcester have teamed up with GAIN Greyhound Nutrition to stage 14 graded stakes with a total prize-money fund of over £58,000.
The competitions will be for 24 greyhounds; Heat winners will receive £150, semi-final winners £200 and winners of the competitions will receive £1,250.
These events will take place on Friday evenings live on RPGTV and should prove exciting for owners and viewers alike.
The first competition starts on Friday 2nd March over 480m and is open to greyhounds that have graded on in 2018. The competitions will run continuously, every Friday throughout the whole of 2018 (excludes two Fridays during the Star Sports English Greyhound Derby).
GAIN Greyhound Nutrition have also kindly sponsored the 2018 ‘Graded Greyhound Of The Year’ – Where the greyhound with the most graded wins in 2018 will be crowned the champion and will collect a £1,000 winner’s prize.
In another exciting move for all Towcester graded runners, partners Low6 are to sponsor the Low6 Graded Track Championship – 36 of Towcester’s finest graded greyhounds will do battle chasing a £2,000 first-prize, trophy, presentation jacket and FREE entry in to the £175,000 to-the-winner Star Sports English Greyhound Derby. The heats of will start on Saturday 31st March, semi-finals Saturday 7th April and the final on Saturday 14th April.
