Graham Strike moved off the bottom of the table with an £87.50 profit at Sunderland. Suuupa Sam Linley also delivered with a £23.75 profit, and remains top of the Mackem table. George Stark bombed -£100. (Though he is still better than a Geordie).
Update to the Yarmouth totals, while The Cash Machine and BB Hughes both crashed, there was an error on Sensible Dave Prentice who weighed in with a £62.50 profit. Stay sensible kids!
NEWCASTLE
The car crash of a tipping contest. Let’s just say, Geordie Jimmy will still probably be in front after tonight – and he is starting off below the water line. As for Jock Jimmy, he is currently costing more than the furlough scheme.

Farloe Autumn (R6 T3) follow early behind the inside pair and hit the front late on. £50 win
Crooks Tyson (R2 T2) Always in the thick of it. He is one of the strongest finishers at the track and will be too much for the rest £50 win
Payaway Kane (R4 T2) Been knocking on the door for some time and is starting to find his form and will just edge it tonight £25 win
PERRY BARR
Can’t imagine that anything sharpens the mind of the English than having to pay homage to a Taff for a whole week. Just to rub it in – September totals to date: Robert Short +£245, Paul Gebhard +£235.70, Hannah Prince +£57.50

Drahbeg Dart (R3 T6) despite bombing out again she did actually go around 4 lengths outside of her best time last week , there was a fortnights gap in her races last time and I think she’s the sort that likes to run once a week, if she traps well again tonight then fingers crossed she can hold on this time; £30 win
Levante Dancer (R4 T3) a nicely bred young bitch that had to start the hard way in A1, her 16.36 first look at Perry Barr is impressive and tells you that she has plenty of speed, hopefully just like the other two selections she can be “out, gone, held on;” £30 win £10 treble.
Best Dressed (R6 T5) Showed a hint last week that he may be coming back to a bit of form and ran well considering he never led. Dropped down to A3 and hoping that allows him to get his head back in front. £20 win
£30 win
Slaneyside Wanda (R9 T5) Gone totally into the unknown on this one as she’s never been tried at this trip but it doesn’t look the hardest of races and looks to have a chance to lead so if she was to stay I don’t think she’d have to be a superstar to win. £20 win
Robert Short
Nowhere Boys (R4 T1) Classy bitch with a drop in class here down to A2. Been knocking at the door in A1 company recently. £50 win
Ingalls (R1 T2) Classy sort here been running top heat for along period. Still at the top of his game £50 win
