The other qualifier went to reigning Brighton Belle title holder Banabane (Droopys Scolari-Ballymac Razl, Mar 14) with a three quarter length defeat of Droopys Costa in 30.16 (-10). Banabane went from T4, Droopys Costa (T3) and Crossfield Molly (T6).
It might have taken 16 attempts to win her first race in Britain but Tellhersomething (Droopys Cain-Dee Dee You, Jul 15) produced the performance of the night at MONMORE on Thursday.
Jonathan Blencowe’s black, who had never been further than Hove’s 515m, clearly has a six bend future as she showed from trap four in the 630m maiden . . .
The winner clocked 38.19 on a track that was all of the .30 slow as credited by the racing office. To put the run into perspective the other two maidens were won by Grangeview Bud in 38.74 (-50) and Glasha Ace in 39.35 (-60).
Quickest over four bend was Olwin Bella (Droopys Cain-Wonder Of You, Sep 15) with a 28.60 (-20) run.
